What preparation actually means
It means making the data the AI needs accessible, reasonably clean, and appropriately scoped — not boiling the ocean. For most projects you need a focused, relevant dataset, not all your data.
The PDPA dimension
Where personal data is involved, preparation includes minimising it, anonymising where possible (as the PDPC encourages), and confirming your basis for use. Good preparation is also good privacy practice.
Doing it sensibly
