PSG funds off-the-shelf pre-approved solutions; EDG funds bespoke transformation projects. How to tell which suits your AI initiative in Singapore.
dgm is an independent osFoundry integration partner — not affiliated with osFoundry’s maker (OS LLC), and dgm has no completed client integrations yet.
PSG and EDG are Singapore’s two best-known enterprise grants, and choosing the wrong one wastes time. The split is simple: off-the-shelf versus bespoke.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| PSG | Pre-approved off-the-shelf solutions; up to 50% / S$30k cap |
| EDG | Bespoke transformation projects; SMEs up to 50%, no fixed cap |
| PSG vendor model | Must use a pre-approved solution + vendor |
| EDG vendor model | You scope the project and engage your own consultants |
When PSG fits
Choose PSG if your need is met by a pre-approved, off-the-shelf solution on the GoBusiness catalogue — accounting, CRM, a listed AI-enabled tool. It is faster and simpler, capped at up to S$30,000, but you must use a listed solution and vendor.
When EDG fits
Choose EDG if your project is bespoke — a custom AI build, process redesign or new product. EDG funds third-party consultancy, software and internal manpower at up to 50% for SMEs, with no fixed dollar cap, but it is a more involved application.
A simple decision rule
Off-the-shelf and listed → PSG. Bespoke and custom → EDG. Note: Enterprise Singapore has announced a unified EDGE grant launching in the second half of 2026 that will consolidate PSG, EDG and MRA; the existing grants remain accessible until it launches, but the exact mechanics and cutover date were not confirmed at the time of writing — verify before relying on either the old or new scheme. Important: these are programmes a business applies for directly with the relevant Singapore agency. dgm is an independent AI-integration agency — not a registered or approved grant deliverer, and not a PSG pre-approved vendor or on any IMDA or Enterprise Singapore pre-approved solution list. dgm can help scope and build the AI project; eligibility, approval and any claim rest with you and the agency. Support levels, caps, eligibility and round status change frequently — confirm the current details on the official programme page before relying on them.
Where dgm fits
dgm is an independent integration partner that helps Singapore businesses adopt osFoundry — scoping a first use case, handling the build, and connecting AI to the systems you already run. dgm can help you scope the AI project that a programme would fund — but you apply to the programme directly, and dgm is not a PSG pre-approved vendor or registered grant deliverer. dgm is independent of osFoundry’s maker (OS LLC) and has no completed client integrations yet, so everything described here is a service offered, not a past result. If you want to scope a practical first project, dgm can help you map it out.
