How SkillsFuture credits and enterprise support help Singapore businesses upskill staff in AI — with a note on the SFEC redesign taking effect from December 2026.

dgm is an independent osFoundry integration partner — not affiliated with osFoundry’s maker (OS LLC), and dgm has no completed client integrations yet.

SkillsFuture is Singapore’s main lever for funding AI upskilling — for both individuals and employers — but the enterprise credit is being redesigned, so timing matters.

Employer support: SFEC

The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) historically gave eligible employers a credit (reported at S$10,000) to defray costs of transformation, job redesign and skills training — usable for AI upskilling. The current scheme is reported to run until 30 November 2026, with a redesigned SFEC from 1 December 2026 issuing a fresh credit via a digital wallet. These dates and amounts were not confirmed on the primary page (it returned an error), so confirm on skillsfuture.gov.sg.

Individual support

Individual Singapore Citizens hold SkillsFuture Credit usable on approved courses, including AI and digital courses; mid-career top-ups exist under the broader SkillsFuture programme. Reported 2026 additions (an AI-readiness self-diagnostic, free premium AI-tool access for some courses) should be verified before relying on them.

How to start

Employers apply via SkillsFuture for Business on GoBusiness; individuals use MySkillsFuture. Important: these are programmes a business applies for directly with the relevant Singapore agency. dgm is an independent AI-integration agency — not a registered or approved grant deliverer, and not a PSG pre-approved vendor or on any IMDA or Enterprise Singapore pre-approved solution list. dgm can help scope and build the AI project; eligibility, approval and any claim rest with you and the agency. Support levels, caps, eligibility and round status change frequently — confirm the current details on the official programme page before relying on them.

Where dgm fits

dgm is an independent integration partner that helps Singapore businesses adopt osFoundry — scoping a first use case, handling the build, and connecting AI to the systems you already run. dgm can help you scope the AI project that a programme would fund — but you apply to the programme directly, and dgm is not a PSG pre-approved vendor or registered grant deliverer. dgm is independent of osFoundry’s maker (OS LLC) and has no completed client integrations yet, so everything described here is a service offered, not a past result. If you want to scope a practical first project, dgm can help you map it out.
